New Landowner Program Series

A multi-county New Landowner Program Series will be held on Friday, September 18th, 2020, at the Johnson County AgriLife Extension Office Conference Room, located at 109 W. Chambers St.  Cleburne, Texas. Check-in for the program is at 1:00 PM, and the program starts at 1:30 PM. The seminar includes the following topics:  Landowner Property Right and Laws, by Tiffany Dowell Lashmet J.D. -Agricultural Law Specialist for Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service; Wildlife laws and regulations for property owners, Preston Whisenhunt- Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Game Warden, Hood County; 1 General CEU opportunity for those with a pesticide applicator’s license.

This program is open to everyone and will help answer questions you have about the water, wildlife, and wire (fence) laws and rights you have as a landowner. Participants can expect a great learning environment with an opportunity to engage with program speakers on their topics.

 (For those attending in person) Registration fee of $15.00 is payable at the door by check, cash or card. YOU MUST CONTACT THE JOHNSON COUNTY EXTENSION OFFICE (817.556.6370) TO RSVP FOR IN PERSON NO LATER THAN September 15, 2020.

This event is hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension New Landowner Committee in Johnson, Somervell and Hood Counties.
