ESTATE PLANNING

A multi-county Landowner Program Covering estate planning will be held on Friday, May 21st, 2021, Check-in for the program opens at 1:00 PM, and the educational program starts at 1:30 PM. Jacob K. Wooley, Partner with Crain & Wooley, will be joining us to share best-practices and “bust” some common myths surrounding the topic of estate planning. Estate planning sounds like a term used only for the rich and famous. NOT SO! If you have a friends, family and finances that you care about come learn how to avoid common estate planning pitfalls. Jacob will cover topics such as:

Fact vs. Fiction: Last Wills and Testaments

The Current Probate Process

Trust Planning for Normal People

Planning for Large and Small Ranch Operations

LLCs and Limited Family Partnerships

 

We will end our time together with an open forum Q & A session. Come ready to learn some new things and get your questions answered.

This program will provide valuable information and will cost participants $15 to attend and is open to the public. Folks attending can expect detailed information to help develop a quality action plan for starting these conversations with an attorney.  Jacob is an estate planning attorney and Partner at Crain & Wooley. He graduated from Mississippi College School of Law and is licensed to practice in Arkansas and Texas. Growing up, Jacob worked hand-in-hand with his grandfather and father on their Arkansas farm. This life experience led him to pursue an undergraduate degree in agriculture at the University of Arkansas. His first-hand life experience partnered with his expertise in estate planning allows him to address the wide ranging and intricate needs of various types of families. Jacob’s focus is helping clients develop a comprehensive plan that gives them peace of mind knowing their affairs are in order.
